Dr. Gustavo Costa received his B.S. in Chemistry from the Sao Paulo State University (Brazil) and his Ph.D. from the University of Sao Paulo (Brazil) with a one-year internship at the Department of Chemistry at the University of California, Davis. He previously held postdoctoral research positions at the University of California, Davis, at Los Alamos National Laboratory and at NASA Glenn Research Center. Currently, he is a Research Scientist in the Environmental Effects and Coatings Branch at NASA Glenn. His current research interests include high temperature chemistry and thermodynamic modeling/measurements of properties of bulk and nanomaterials, and gases/vapors.
